Our client is seeking a Sr. Manager of Digital User Experience will be responsible for leading the Digital Marketing strategy and activities across the entire Marketing funnel.  These activities will include the creation of a streamlined, persona-based website experience, in a brand-consistent fashion, with a never-ending focus on customer needs and engagement. Duties include: digital experience mapping and website redesign, SEM and SEO, lead generation, PPC, and email and display advertising campaign development, in collaboration with Global Product Marketing, Regional Marketing and the other members of the Marketing Communications team. Additionally, the individual will support corporate web projects including intranet development, user studies, taxonomy, Content Management System (CMS) analysis, implementation, and ongoing web maintenance through analysis and reporting on the data generated by both ad campaigns and website activity. The Sr. Manager of Digital User Experience will stay up-to-date on new technologies, social media and blog tools, and Digital Marketing industry best practices for both campaigns and analytics. This individual will be the evangelist for the digital consumer across the organization using data-driven insights. 

Required Work Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in a web-related position such as UX, web production, content development, web writing, social media management, web strategy, etc.
• 3+ years of team leadership
• 1-2 years of CMS experience
• Strong experience with persona-based Digital Marketing

Required Education/Training: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field or related discipline.  
Preferred Skills:
•  2-3 years Hubspot experience; Experience with Hubspot/Salesforce integrations a plus
•  Experience with WordPress as a CMS
•  Experience working with remote teams
•  Life science or clinical diagnostic experience
•  Experience with using project management tools 
•  Workfront experience a plus

• Lead efforts to streamline Luminex’s website to improve the user experience
• Collaborate with the Global and Regional Marketing teams to ensure Luminex’s digital efforts are coordinated, customer-focused, and maximally effective 
• Set Digital Marketing analytics standards and reporting for all digital customer
• Lead Digital Marketing efforts to build compelling campaigns, offers and conversion
opportunities through SEO, Google AdWords campaigns, social networks, blogs,
banners, etc.
• Uncover data-driven customer insights and recommendations that result in improved campaign/site performance and digital KPIs
• Adjust go-to-market activities based on data-driven results and the needs of the
• Report on long-term trends, as well as on new product launches, features and
functionality releases and act as the gatekeeper of all relevant digital data to ensure that the correct data points are being captured
• Work closely with and guide internal business partners interested in leveraging
digital analytics by establishing standards, providing training and follow-up to make sure web analytics best practices are being followed
• Establish KPIs and reporting performance plans for programs including websites, display, email, search, mobile and social
• Increase conversion activities to drive qualified leads and revenue growth
• Execute on recommendations in the form of A/B and/or multivariate testing
• Manage processes and governance around reporting and analyses across the digital group to drive efficiency and consistency in reporting and analyses of data
• Keep up-to-date with best practices in Inbound Marketing, Digital Marketing best
practices, usability, social media, blogs, SEO, SEM, PPC, and Digital Marketing and development techniques and methods
• Provide day-to-day oversight of web development resources
• Manage the web and Digital Marketing team -- currently 3 people

• Strong knowledge in digital and online media including websites, social media and blog applications, email marketing, and online advertising (PPC, Google AdWords)
• Experience implementing Inbound Marketing strategies
• Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, web analytics, and reporting
• Deep understanding of how to effectively segment, nurture and grow a database of
leads and customers
• Experience using and generating reports from CRM applications and Marketing Automation systems
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills – both speaking and writing
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent understanding of email Marketing
• Experience with creating, streamlining and managing website content, prototyping,
creation, and design
• Understanding of landing page optimization and A/B testing
• Familiar with using web CMS applications, especially WordPress
• Experience with the design and development of online promotional materials and acute vision for design layouts
• Recognized team player with strong leadership skills and comfortable working in a
cross-functional, international, and remote team environment
